On the morning of November 4, major projects in Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone (JETDZ) in the fourth quarter of 2022 were commenced. Zhou Xiangyang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and First Secretary of the Party Work Committee of JETDZ, attended the commencement event. 24 major projects were involved, with a total investment of 21.05 billion yuan, covering fields such as advanced manufacturing, infrastructure and livelihood improvement.
JETDZ has sped up project construction, completing a fixed assets investment of 14.576 billion yuan in the previous three quarters, up 18% year on year. During the period, JETDZ improved project services, enhanced the service mechanism, strengthened full-cycle system design, straightened out the mechanism of entry, settlement and exit, and improved the quality of settled projects. From January to October, 50 industrial projects were completed and put into operation, with a total investment of 20.1 billion yuan. Now JETDZ has 68 industrial projects under way, with a total investment of 41.7 billion yuan, as well as 37 proposed industrial projects, with a total investment of 38.7 billion yuan.
